Process Server

Houston Process Servers LLC, a professional litigation support company, is currently seeking Process Servers to deliver legal documents in Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery Counties. This is a contracted position and services will be required on an as-needed basis. This is an excellent opportunity to earn supplemental income while working a flexible schedule. Retired law enforcement and security personnel are excellent candidates.  Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must be certified in Texas
  • Availability during business hours to retrieve service documents from the courthouse
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work variable hours as service attempts may be required in the morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend
  • A smartphone with GPS navigation to use our free mobile app is a must
  • Print, Scan, and Email capability
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Willing to submit a background check – criminal and driving history
  • Access to a Notary Public in the event the Affidavit of Service requires notarization
  • Previous experience in Process Service, Security, Private Investigation, or Law Enforcement is a plus

Private Investigator

Candidates selected for the position will perform stationary and mobile physical surveillance investigations for a private investigation company as a sub-contractor. Minimum of one-year experience conducting physical field surveillance and currently VA PI licensed or PERC card, reliable transportation, own video equipment, and able to work as a Private Investigator in the State of Texas, however, all applicants will be considered. Expect extensive travel in the surrounding areas.

Note: The nature of this job requires early hours, long days, working in the extreme heat and extreme cold, weekends, and holidays. The amount of driving can be extensive and should be considered when applying for this position. As a part-time investigator, you will have the flexibility to utilize our interactive scheduling calendar to list what days you are available for assignments each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly complete assigned cases.
  • Testify the collected facts obtained in any hearing or court of law as needed.
  •  Assist other investigators as needed.
  • Make sound judgments and decisions while in the field.
  •  Turn in the required documentation, evidence, and video in a timely manner.

Position Requirements

  • Must own reliable transportation.
  • Minimum (1) year of related experience or a two-year college degree.
  • Basic computer knowledge, knowledge of the internet, and strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and patient.
  • Clear and valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Access to high-speed internet and a laptop computer.
  • Must possess strong computer and internet skills.

Applicants must provide at their own cost, a driving record check (provided by the state DMV or Secretary of State in which you reside) during the hiring process.

Criminal Background Checks will be performed on all candidates.

Individuals are required to obtain their own Private Investigation License.
